WHAT IS THE COMMUNITY CARE ASSOCIATION?
The Association is a Registered Charity (number 1178776) which is managed by a Board of Trustees who are all volunteers. The committee meets regularly and welcomes new members. There is a staff team of nine co-ordinating the day to day running of the Centre. The Community Care Association offers a wide range of support services for those in need in the local community.
WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER THE COMMUNITY
The Centre based in Town Close offers facilities for a variety of social and support groups. There are two large Activity Rooms and a Meeting Room for hire. We have disabled facilities and can provide refreshments. We consult with local carers and users of Health & Social Services to get to know what their views of such services are and to encourage involvement in the planning of these services. We aim to reach out to the local community, identify needs and assist in the establishment of services and support for the local community.
GEOGRAPHICAL AREA WE COVER
