If you care for someone who lives with dementia or memory loss, Stokesley Community Care Association and Carers Plus Yorkshire invite you to this monthly drop-in session to find out about the support available to unpaid carers.
There will be the opportunity to speak to one of our friendly and knowledgeable team, as well as the chance to chat to other carers, share experiences and gain peer support.
Tea, coffee and a light buffet will be provided alongside friendly and informative conversation at this informal and welcoming group.
Guest speakers also attend to provide information and advice on issues relevant to carers.
Booking is not required, please just turn up and join in. However, if you are a carer who is unable to leave the person you care for please contact us in advance. We have experienced staff on hand who will sit with your loved one in a nearby room and engage them in activities while you enjoy the chance to take a break with others in the same situation.
The group is held on the second Friday of every Month from 10.00am – 12.00pm at Stokesley Community Care Association, Town Close, TS9 5DH. Please see our events calendar for details.
