Our fully accessible minibuses provide a regular schedule of bookable journeys to enable people who are without their own transport and who struggle to access public transport due to age, mobility and locality, to access local services and shopping provision:
Friday Market Service
Collecting from Great Ayton/Great Broughton and Hutton Rudby/Hilton every Friday morning, our weekly bus service to Stokesley provides passengers with a door to door service, with the security of knowing that they will be well cared for by our volunteer drivers. With two hours in Stokesley to shop at the market or local shops, attend appointments, enjoy a break or meeting with friends in a café, the service is ideal for those who benefit from a regular chance to get out and about independently.
Monthly Shopping Trips
We provide monthly shopping trips to enable people who struggle to access public transport to get out and do their own shopping. Each month services are provided to:
• Coulby Newham
• Guisborough
• Teesside Park
• Northallerton
Our volunteer drivers will drop passengers off at a convenient location near to the shopping facilities and collect at a pre-arranged time. Drivers are able to assist with loading shopping into the bus and stowing mobility aids.
Please note that these trips are extremely popular and a place cannot be guaranteed. Booking opens for these trips at 9am on the first working day of the month.
We respectfully request that, in order to safely transport all passengers, shopping is not at an excessive level.
